Tour du Mont Blanc hiking with Marie - July 2019

That's probably the week I was the most excited about this year. The perspective to spend a week alone with my wife (without the kids), doing what I love the most hiking/running outdoor, and in my favourite region in the world the Alps. We are going for the Tour du Mont Blanc, which is normally a 7 day hike around the Mont Blanc that starts in Chamonix and goes through France, Italy, and Switzerland with no less that 7 mountain pass higher than 2000m. We managed to do it in 6 days sleeping in mountain refuges at night.

This was also the opportunity to fully disconnect and (almost) not use my phone and check emails for a week. Despite the physical effort, these weeks are the most relaxing and the best quality time you can spend in couple one could imagine.

Adding the runs at the end of the day (yes I did not have enough hiking) I did 220km and 11k elevation over a week. Not bad! actually quite a good training for what's coming next at the end of July. I'll let you enjoy some of the pics below.
